News Flash!! Our Upward Basketball program has grown tremendously over the past few years. This year, we're very pleased to announce that we have five local churches involved in the program: Crestwood Baptist; St. John Methodist; Ballardsville Baptist; Crestwood United Methodist Church (CUMC); and Springdale Community Church. Last season we had over 1300 children in the Upward Basketball program and we're looking for many more to be involved this year!!

Registration is open late September through early November 2007 for the 2008 season. You may pick up registration forms at any of the five churches listed above and they will be available in the office at Oldham County Elementary and Middle schools.

Upward Basketball is open to all boys and girls, kindergarten through 8th grade. Cheerleading is offered for kindergarten through 5th grade. See the chart below for league divisions:

Basketball is made up of boys teams in the following divisions:	Kindergarten-CoEd Instructional 1st & 2nd Grades 3rd & 4th Grades 5th & 6th Grades 7th & 8th Grades
and girls teams in the following divisions:	Kindergarten-CoEd Instructional 1st & 2nd Grades 3rd & 4th Grades 5th & 6th Grades 7th & 8th Grades

Kindergarten basketball will practice and play on the same night each week with boys and girls on mixed teams.

Cheerleading squads will include K through 5th grade with teams divided in various age groups.

It's fun for the entire family.
